hangup after sllep mode

Cpu is P-3,933 ram 128,windows98.motherboard is 810e intel chipset.Problem is, when I put the system in sleep mode for temporary intervell and when I wake it up for works by wackup switch the mouse arrow stuck and nothing be happened I forced to restart pc with power on/off switch.I have Serial three buton Logiteck mouse.It is due to serial mouse? or any other problem.

My system does the same thing sometimes, it doesn't have anything in common with your system except for the 128 mb ram. I finally started just shutting down the computer when I am not using it. You may want to look at the virtual memory settings and the swap file size. I have problems where the swap file will get so large that even though the system is running it takes forever to do anything. Unless you really need the computer to run 24/7 try to shut it off or atleast restart once in a while.
