cursed cursor

every now and then I get a yellow 'crash' symbol, with a pink border, which attaches momentarily to the cursor and then dissapears.

by a crash symbol I mean the type of thing in comics, which contain words like 'crash' bang' wallop, biff, etc.

it is only very small and I cant tell if there are words in it or not.

any ideas ?

Check your settings for your cursors and see if that is one that is part of whatever theme you are using. If it is not, you may have a malware problem...

I agree, try scanning with fully updated Spybot or Adaware first.
