Send page by email (IE)

Sending a page (IE Win 98SE) from the NY Times to myself or a friend, normally go to File/Send/Page by Email. In the past there was no problem. Now I get a message "The current document type can not be sent as mail. Would you like tosend a shortcut instead?" Tried with other newspapers where I had sucess in the past and had no luck. Frames are not the problem .Help PLEASE.

Not quite sure with what appears to be a corrupt file, however, one possible solution, if it just recently happened, might be to scanreg/restore to the day before it began. Sounds like something got corrupted. Boot using your Startup disk and select with CD-ROM support. At the A http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/tongue.gifrompt type Scanreg_/restore (the underscore is a space). Select an earlier date to restore to and hopefully that would do it.

Thank You Whyzman for your quick response to my problem. But I am an Intermediate Dummy for I do not know where to find Scanreg. I would assume
you mean when you wrote... Boot with start up you mean my Win 98SE CD-Rom. How do I arrive at the day before? Have this problem about 2 weeks. As you see I have little experience (and fear)going to Run or DOS. Am always reluctant that I will screw up and make things worse.
