I've got a really annoying problem with Eudora 5.1
When I start it up I get an error come up saying the rable of contents is out of date giving me the option to Rebuild, Use Old or Cancel.
If I choose rebuild I get a message saying 226 of 226 summaries in the old table of contents used; 3 new summaries created (each time I have tried it the total number has increased by 1 or 2 and the new has gone up by 1 or 2). I click Ok and then get unhandled exception error come up and it shuts down.
If I choose Use Old it warns me this may delete my mailbox a few times and recomends I use rebuild, before coming up with the same unhandled exception error and shutting down.
If I choose Cancel it comes up with the error and shuts down.
This is really getting annoying and I would love to be able to get round this, preferably without loosing my mailbox.
Any suggestions?
I'm using Windows XP Pro, Athlon XP something or other, 384MB RAM, system has been running fine otherwise, no virii, no new software installed, etc.
Help me...
