Ok, Here's what I have:
1. Home network (Setup as a Workgroup)
2. I have 1 PC (Win2k) connected to the internet via dialup
3. I have a 4 port ethernet hub connected to the Win2k PC
4. I have 1 Win98se laptop, connected to the hub, sharing printer, files, internet (yea real slow, but better than a sharp stick in the eye!)
5. I have a new Dell laptop (WinXP Pro) currently connected to the hub, working the same as #4
All PCs working, sharing and playing together as well as can be expected.
Now for the question:
The Dell has a wireless ethernet port built in. What do I need to be able to remove the Cat 5 cable from the Dell and make it wireless?
Hope thats clear for all.
Thanks!
