i know that china uses 220 volts / 50 AC and that i need to bring a converter to use my US electronics. but do i also need to bring an adapter to get my gba advance sp to charge? am i going to fry it when i plug it in over there?

i know the charger that came with my laptop can handle 220 volts, but can the gba sp sharger handle it also?

i have a 16 hour flight there and an 18 hour flight back from shanghai this tuesday and i don't want to be screwed...

also, anybody know how long the battery is supposed to last with the light on?

thanks!

What I would do is give Nintendo Tech-support a call...

Their 1-800 is 255-3700

My son who is a console gaming guru says there's a voltage adapter that you can pick up that converts the power to 110V to then plug your unit into...

Also, you could ask them regarding the light life expectancy...

Just to be safe though, I'd suggest getting it first hand from the Techs...
