Hi, does anyone know of any good diagnostic, burn-in etc? Looking for freeware or very cheap, thanks:)

This site (http://www.mysuperpc.com/computer_assembly/pc_torture_test.shtml) has two links, one for Prime95-CPU stress test and the second MemTest86, ive use both and both do good jobs.

It isn't comprehensive but it is free.

It uses its own Operating system on the floppy and works via the BIOS to test the hardware directly without user intervention.
Just sit back and watch the tests.

Making the floppy can be tricky, but once made it is really easy to use.

Thanks for the help. I tried them all and like them especialy aida. What is the best software out there for this if I decide to buy a good one? Thanks again:cool:
