I'm having trouble getting logged into MSN and/or Windows Messenger.
I'm running Windows XP Pro. These were freshly installed after I formatted a few days ago. Everything else seems to be working fine. I'm on a P3 833mhz Dell Dimension 4100.
I know my internet connection is working, because:
A) I can post this.
B) I can get on AOL Instant Messenger.
Here are the error messages I'm getting:
From MSN Messenger (6.1):
We were unable to sign you in to the .NET Messenger Service, possibly because of a problem with your Internet connection. Please try again later. 0x81000370
One time this also stated that I was behind a firewall that might be causing the problem (I checked Norton, I have no hardware firewalls).
From Windows Messenger:
Signing into .NET Messenger Service failed because the password is incorrect or the sign-in name does not exist. If you have forgotten your password, click Help in the main window, and then click Help Topics.
Can anyone help?
