View Full Version : Opera doesn't automatically dial up ??

I have changed pc's and the new one has a Zoom INFERNAL-Internal modem. It takes five minutes to dial up! That I can ignore but if I go to my browser (Opera 7.11) it won't dial up automataically. I have to connect first. Is the problem in Opera or my modem? I used this same version on the previous pc; external Zoom and ait worked correctly.

Which version of Windows?

Have you checked the dialing properties?

Running WIN98SE on old and new pc. Dialing properties are identical. Only the change from external to internal has changed.

I will try to do some research on the support site. The link deals with WIN2000 WIN98SE doesn't have the options mentioned. Thanks

My firewall caused that to happen, have you made any changes in your firewall lately???
