Welcome to the PC Guide forums!
Here’s the general stuff that you need to know:
http://www.geocities.com/budallen98_98/comm-irq.html
An easy printable IRQ chart:
http://www.helpmypc.com/troubleshooter/pcirq.htm
Note:
-Since most modern PCs don’t have more than one parallel port, IRQ 5 is usually used for the sound card.
-IRQ 12 is used for the PS/2 mouse port.
-IRQ 14 is for the primary IDE controller
-IRQ 15 is for the secondary IDE controller
Another IRQ chart:

I/O Address chart:
http://itdepot.org/ioaddresses.htm
DMA Chart:
http://itdepot.org/DMA%20chart.htm
Hope this helps.
Make sure to go to Jiggy's link for more detailed info on each of the above.
