Two I've heard of are IBM via voice and Dragon.
Any advice/suggestions concerning these and others ?
I'm looking to getting one and looking for the obvious advantages:
- price
- ease of use
- accuracy
- compatability
Looking for the best all round.

I have used ViaVoice and Dragon. Both were difficult to use and both had lots of errors, even after I spent a considerable amount of time training. I haven't reinstalled either of them since I set up my new computer. However, I haven't tried any of the versions out in the last year or two, so they may have improved. It is a technology that will eventually be great, but I am not sure it is there yet...

I'm sure they are quite better, a couple of years in that technology can
make a big difference I'm guessing.
I spoke with the Dragon people and they said they were up to 95% accuracy
and could get 98% with a little work on your end .....
They are up to ver 7 , not sure what you had but assume it was earlier.
I'm with Budfred on this one.
I have both and I have attempted to use both ..
Both are back in the boxes collecting dust bunnies on the shelf

I believe the version of Dragon that I was using claimed 99% accuracy, sounds like they have gotten a little more accurate in their claims....
