Hi Stefanus,
Those blue links are hyper links. When you are replying to a thread, you can use the http:// button located right above the reply field. If you look to the left of the http:// button you will see the vB Code help link. It has all the directions.

Have you been to this page stefanus, you can find useful info on using this forum,
http://www.pcguide.com/vb/misc.php?s=&action=faq.
If you want to include the vB Code, you may simply surround the address with tags as shown below. (The vB Code tags are shown in red).
[url]www.vbulletin.com/forum/
You can also include true hyperlinks using the tag. Just use the following format:
Click here to visit the vBulletin forums (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/)
This will produce a hyperlink like this: Click here to visit the vBulletin forums.
Note that once again, you need not include the [url]http:// if the address begins www.

stefanus,
If you find a web page that you would like to link to, try this.
At the top of the page is the address bar. It is the area where the url of the web page is displayed. If you right click on it, it will become high lighted and you will get a drop down menu. One of the options in the menu is "Copy". If you click "Copy", you will be coping that url and putting it on your "clip board". The clip board is an unseen area of the operating system that holds items that you have copied.
Now, you come to the PCGuide Forums and start a reply to a thread. Once you get to the page with the reply box you will see a tool bar just above the reply text box. It has icons such as B I U etc. The tenth icon from the left looks like a globe with a set of sunglasses or some such thing under it. If you put your mouse pointer on it you will get a little "tool tip" box that says "Insert Hyperlink". If you click on that icon you will get a box that allows you to type in the text you would like to be displayed to represent your link such as THIS. Then click OK.
You will now have a box that says "Please enter the url of your link". In the text box you will see "http://" high lighted. Right click on the high lighted text and click on "Paste" in the menu that appears.
The url that you copied to the clip board will appear in the text box. Click "OK" and the code will be entered into the reply text box.
At that point you can click on "Preview Post" which is directly under the reply text box. This will show you what the link will look like when it is finally posted.
I hope that does it for you... :)
