Drive Image - Disk mgr?

I get the following message when trying to run Drive Image:

"Error 91 Disk Manager has been detected on drive %lu

If you no longer need to use Disk Manager on your hard drive, you can fix Error 91 by removing the Disk Manager signature from the Master Boot Record (MBR)."

I have 5 partitions running XP & ME.

What is Disk Manager and do I need it to run dual OS's?

Disk managers are such things as Linux's Lilo, Power Quest's Boot Magic and Symantec's Disk Edit. The generally "overlay" the MBR and are one way of organising multi-boot setups.

Have you been experimenting with any of these? You will generally need one if multibooting Windows and Linux but you can dual boot WinME and WinXP without one - as long as WinME was installed first.

Me was first and I have Power Quest's Boot Magic although I don't use it.

See any reason I can't delete the disk manager.

I have found the following info: http://www.powerquest.com/support/results.cfm
