My question is;
When booting up my computer, I get a message that my hard Drive is infected with a virus. When I change to my secondary harddrive, I get same message. Is this possible?...and if so, how do I get system to boot so I can clean these drives?

welcome aboard!
It is certainly possible for both disks to be infected.
The best way round this is to use an antivirus utility which allows you to boot using the av's own 'OS'
basically, things like Norton AV allow you to boot from the cd, and use the av utilty from there.
Sometimes the virus isn't listed on the cd, as it is a newer type of virus. In this case, it may be possible to download the av definitions on a clean system, copy them to a cd and place them in a directory on the infected hdd (norton allows this - follow the instructions as the definitions need to be expanded)
when you use the av disk, you can then specify the directory of the updated av definition list that should be used.
It may be possible to just expand the definitions onto cd, and use the definitions from there, but don't quote me on this!

What virus do you have? What does it say? What is the message? Do you have anti-virus software installed?

If you can get online, you can run a scan from an online antivirus. You can find links in mjc's security thread.... (http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15179) Make sure you scan both drives at the same time or the virus may be able to slip from one back to the other....
