my computer won't start all I gett is a beeping sound any advice
Please reseat your RAM and video card...
Also post complete system specs in your next post.

Also, old machine? New build? Was it ever working properly? Did you add anything recently?

How do I rest my ram and video when my pc turns on with a beeping sound and nothing on the screen.Also what do you mean post complet system spec? I have a pentuim 111 windows 98 SE and I try to install memory and that when I got the beeping sound.

An initial beeping when you attempt to boot up usually means that your RAM or your VIDEO card are not seated properly into the slots...
You would want to check your RAM stick carefully and make sure that it is all the way into the slot...
Secondly, are you sure that this is the RAM that your board requires??
If you'd give us the specs we can do a little homework or head you in the right direction...
What motherboard are you using in your rig and what does the RAM stick say on it??

Are you saying you have a Pentium III (3) or a Pentium at 111Mhz?? The more you can tell us about your computer, the more likely we can help. Reseating the RAM is probably the main thing at this point though...
