Anybody know anything about this software currently advertised on E-bay. It appears to be to good to be true.

"It appears to be to good to be true."
Then it almost certainly is.
The last PCTools that I am familiar with went down in flames after it released a version of its utility suite that caused more problems that it solved. If this is the same, it is ancient by computer standards since it is pre-internet. If you want to post a link to the eBay ad, we can probably tell you more... A quick Google was not helpful...

Well, if that is it, it looks like a great deal..... for the people selling it!!  As Yoda said, you can get the tools for free and be less likely to be infested with spyware and other garbage in the process....

I can only say : it looks fabulous.
In other words, too good to be true.

That is the same product that Yoda linked to and it is not worth the money... The tools on there are available free for download and the maker is full of hype enough that I would bet there is spyware or other malware on that disk... You can certainly get it if you want, but I would save my money....

May have , may not have spyware? I don't have the cd so cannot make claims to what it may contain.or will I speculate as to content..nor am i going to buy it to find out .. Apparently they must have some sort of lisence agreement with theses co. for redistributing the progs. Unless they wrote them their selves ? (There are going to be strings attatched somewhere)..
You can get free programs and make your own CD...(just don't try to sell it..(Unless you have permission).
