Working with Compaq 2000 Pentium I 133Mhz, 1.2 GB HDD. Computer was formerly used by bank with Novell software and network card. Running WinME. I've removed everything I could find connected to Novell, but keep getting the message "C:\Novell\Client32\LSLC32.nlm not found."

There was no uninstall for Novell. I've looked for Novell in System.Ini, Win.Ini, User.dat, System.dat and in the Register (which I don't want to fool with) and can't find anything. I can keep hitting the ENTER key to get past the error message but this is very annoying each time I boot up.

Something seems to be calling for a Novell setup, but don't know where to find it. Any suggestions?

I had to deal with that not long ago. Novell doesn't put an uninstaller like many programs do, you have to remove it from Control Panel, in the Networkong section. Look for the Novell entry and remove it from there.
