I used partition magic to get rid of the linux partition on my hard drive because I didnt want linux anymore. The version of linux was redhat 9 and it had the GRUB bootloader. Now whenever I restart, i get into this command line type grub and I dont know what to do to get into windows again. Please Help!

Boot from the XP CD, and enter the recovery console by pressing R at the first prompt to do so.
Then try the folowing commands:
fixboot
fixmbr

:( well I cant find my XP cd anywhere, so is there another way to do it or can I just borrow the cd from a friend? Also, will doing this harm any of my data on the computer?

Any XP cd will do the job and it shouldnt affect any data stored on the drive.

I wonder if a win98 boot disk and the DOS command fdisk_/mbr would do the trick? (Underscore denotes a space)

Well, I dont have a floppy drive on my computer, and my other computer doesnt have a CD burner, so I dont think that I can get the boot disk to my computer. If the windows 98 installation disk would work then I might be able to find it...
Fdisk would work if it were on a FAT32 partition...if it is a NTFS nope,

Yeah its NTFS, so fdisk wouldn't work so Ill just get the XP install disk tomorrow and see how that works.
