HI, I own a video store, I use 1 server + 2 stations netw, running "homemade" DOS program and protect by passwords.
The creator of the software, is "gone"! so I have no acses for modifications. In REPORTS Mode I have choise to: sende to: -screen- or to: -Printer-, (the configuration for the printers is limitate to Epson or IBM style). IS THERE A WAY TO GRAB thet signal paralel-port-to printer, and save-it some how, I'LL like to change the order Sorting of the database of my movies to print.
His this a 1000$ or stupid question??
Thank You very much

Sounds like PRN2FILE may be what you need. See bottom of this page:

Can you print the contents of the folder to file. If this is an x-base (FoxBase,FoxPro,dBase,Clipper) program. You can hire a programmer to make the changes you need to keep the program without trashing everything you have.

go to a dos prompt and at the proper folder type dir>lof.txt

you can open the lof.txt and post it back here
