Hi all, since I'm not happy with my 92mm Zalman fan, I'm looking for a replacement. The kind of fan that I want must have good noise/CFM ratio and have a 4-pin Molex connector. It'll be nice if it also comes with manual fan control.
So far I've found a Sunon which push 48.5CFM for 33dbA. A Panaflo that push 56.8CFM for 35dbA. Last is a Thermaltake which does 56CFM also at 35dbA.
Here's the link to all 3 of them:
Thermaltake (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-999-108&depa=1)
Panaflo (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=35-180-011&depa=1)
Sunon (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-999-002&depa=1)
Please, no Tornado or Delta, I want to keep my sanity.:D

Thanx:cool:

Of those fans you listed, Panaflo would be the best choice, in my experience, although you will have to order a 4-pin tail with it.

The Sunon fans tend to have an annoying whine to them.

The Thermaltake would probably be OK, but there is no speed adjustment, on any of them that I can see.

Give Enermax a look-see:

SVC is currently out of stock, but it will give you an idea. You will have to use a 3-pin to 4-pin adapter, but that's no big deal. I've used these Enermax fans for quite some time, in all sizes...they do a fine job and are speed adjustable.

Hmm, I was considering Enermax also, but the thing is I can't find it on eBay.:( Seems to me the Panaflo have sleeve bearings which mean the MTBF is lower than ball bearing. I don't want to turn on my cpu 1 day and have the fan not working...
Thanx for the response:cool:

Nope, Panaflo fans have Hydrawave bearings, which are supposedly better in longevity and noise than regular sleeve or ball bearing fans.

Of course I have, and I also use Arctic Silver 5. Only thing is my Zalman fan was design to be as quiet as possible. (damn CNPS:mad: )
