I have a fairly new HP XL776 Athlon 850 computer. I just moved it to another room and now it won't boot. I've checked all wires and connections but it will not boot. It is hanging after checking the processor and memory. It will not boot from a system disk. I tried a new hard drive and it will not recognize the floppy drive for the install disk. This computer worked fine and has only been sitting for about 3 weeks before being moved to another room. Nothing was bumped or jolted in the move. If I try to enter setup, the computer freezes after displaying "entering setup" Could it have anything to do with the battery on the motherboard? Any help is greatly appreciated. It does count the memory and recognize the processor and says something about shadowed bios (can't remember what it is exactly). Thanks!

Try reseating all the cards, RAM too...also check all the wiring connections and making sure that each is firmly seated.
