View Full Version : Keyboard problems
Hello I have a keyboard here that is messing up in two ways. One the space bar is not working properly and you have to nail it get it to space ( i think its just worn out) and problem number two is when i hit the letter "s" it goes into Caps Lock mode. Now that is annoying haha. The only thing i have done so far is gone to My Computer/Control Panel/Keyboards and made sure it was set to United States 101 layout. Any ideas?

My personal experience with keyboards is that when they begin to exhibit problems...they make great subjects for sighting in a rifle or shotgun! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
For the $10.00 or under for a generic Keyboard you would be money ahead not to waste your time. Okay, you can pry up the key and see if there's a misplaced potato chip under there, but other than that they just make great venting vehicles.
If you're curious and want to "go in" and see what makes 'em tick...they are quite interesting to have a look-see. Really, they are just like an extremely large video game controller, only with plastic sheets inside.
You can follow the printed lines around and see if you can guess what function the keys have...kinda a cool maze kinda thingy...
