We are aware of this situation.
The problem you are having is to do with Intel's Pentium 4 processor using Hyperthreading wich is not compatible with USB Modem Drivers. The only suggestions we have at the moment is to Install a NIC, or to disable Hyperthreading within your BIOS. The NIC being the most recommended.
