Does Photography count as a Geek Hobby ?
Film Photography that is. Including Darkroom work :)

I guess that depends on what you are photographing :)

If you're photographing fruit or your action figures, then that's definetely geek worthy ;)

If you're photographing beautiful women, then...what the heck are you doing here? keep taking those pics you lucky sob!

In the "geeky" section of my life, there is defenitly a lot of Sci-fi and Fantasy going on. Books, movies, tv-shows. Also a lot of gaming and, soon for my first time ever: Live Action Role Playing!!! :D

I think I currently have what could be considered the geekiest hobby of all. Learning linux as a main OS on my machine.

Plus the usual, sc-fi/fantasy books movies, TV series and so on and so on.

I'll second you on that Linux as OS thing. That's my main hobbey nowadays. otherwise, I just take old junk, and make it into working junk. I rebuild cell phones (it's fun to take 7 broken corporate cell phones and turn them into one working one....), rebuild computers (my main attraction right now...there's nothing like turning on a recently working 486 for the first time and realizing I have a pocket calculator with more power...), rebuild cars, Lamps, and refinish/rebuild furniture.

On the more athletic side, I play soccer whenever I can find a group of friends who like no-holds-barred soccer, and hacky-sack whenever I can.

On the artsy side, I draw, compose music (usually classical style), Sing, and read philisophical "thinker" books, usually foll0wed up with deep conversation.

All these are, by the very nature of the concept of Rennaisance Man, at a level of amatuer, except the repair....
