Well, just an experiment to see what kind of replies I get.
I'm sure there will be something from our friends in Carolina and the south.
And the Midwest? And the West coast? And from overseas? And from people that hate Football?
:D
(Edit) BTW...I'm really a Jets fan, but I may be waiting around forever to root for them in the Super Bowl again. So, being from the Northeast....Well, you know.

i'm a 49ers fan myself, but I'll probably cheer on the patriots.:D
I suspect that I will miss the very end of the game though since it seems to finish right when I'll be in the middle of a job interview. Hopefully that will just be the aftergame review

Since I live about 100 miles from Cleveland,Ohio--I'm a Browns fan. But I suppose I have a better chance of winning the lottery than the Browns have of going to the Super Bowl. I like football, but I'm don't take it that seriously. Sure I like to see my team win. But if they don't, my live goes on. I guess you could call me a lukewarm fan. In my opinion, I feel that too much hype is placed on the Super Bowl. I know it's a sport that a lot of people enjoy--and I'll probable watch it tonight. I don't know who I'm going to pull for--maybe the Patriots. Sometimes if I'm watching football--or baseball--and I don't know who to pull for, I'll pull for the underdog. In this game, I don't even know who the underdog is. That tells you how much of a football fan I am. Well--I just hope it's a good game and nobody gets hurt. Maybe it will give us a chance to get our minds of of all the other crap that we have to think about these days. Enjoy the game! By the way, can anyone tell me who the underdog is?

"Nothing could be finer than to know that Carolina is the Un un un der dog"
Suppose to sound like the song..Guess I failed. :p
I agree about the Hype...I Ignore most of it. But still love Football. (Played myself a bit)
Really love the "mechanics" of the game. It's a bit more complicated than most realize. (Except for die hard Football fans that is). ;)

I went to a wedding in Tallahassee last weekend, and Brad Johnson, starting QB for the Tampa Bay Bucs, was a groomsman. He and his wife were both very nice people (my wife and his wife met the week earlier at the bachelorette party).
After the wedding I introduced myself to Brad and asked who he liked in the game.
The first thing he asked me was whether or not I was betting.
After I assured him that I wasn't, he said he really didn't like either of them. :p
I finally got him to give me an answer, and he said he thinks the Pats will take it in a close game.
I'm not a big NFL fan, although I do watch a few playoff games and the Super Bowl. But it was cool to talk to him for a minute and get his opinion. :)

Pretty good game!!!
pentachris...If you happen to run into Brad Johnson again, tell him you decided to go with his hunch and won a fortune! :D
Pretty cool story though.....Wish I could hang out with the "Rich and Shameless". You and Brad going to any more parties? Can I come? :p
