When I Shrink An Image And Upload It Fails

I'm wondering why, if I upload a pic file it works. But if I shrink the pic by 50% in paintbrush then save that and upload again the file can't be accessed from a webpage??

So long as its the same file format & file name as the original I see no reason it wouldnt work.

What are you using to create the website? Front Page maybe? Make sure the links refer to the correct image etc..

ok, no I only have two pictures uploaded. I'm not making a webpage, simply uploading 2 pictures so I can use the links to them for an avatar in the abovetopsecret.com forum, for my name.

What are you using to upload and could you be uploading as asci and not binary?

Have you double-checked spelling and path and so on?

Do you want to publish the links to them here for peeps to check-out?

You could create a dead simple html page and insert both pics into it. Have all three files in the same folder on your hdd and use relative links. Check that they work on your hdd by opeing the html page and then upload all three together to the web and see if they still work there.
