Hi,

I'm in the process of building new PC. MB is GA-8KNXP, but not using the onboard sound and have a Creative Audigy 2 ZS. The Case is the Coolermaster WaveMaster.

The question is where do the 4 audio wires, (MIC-IN, GRND, L-OUT, R-OUT) from the 'front', (actually top) case panel attach to the card?

(I asked coolermaster tech support a few days ago and no response.)

Thanks

You'll either have to check the card over closely to see if the connectors might be marked, or find a manual for the card that has some markings. You might also find it's not possible, I'm not sure connectors for front panel wiring is available on add-in cards, that's usually for onboard sound, which has headers on the motherboard for that purpose.

I'm way behind on new hardware though, so I might be completely wrong. I haven't seen the Audigy line of sound cards, so I don't know how they are set up for pinouts. The best bet is to find a manual for the card. Check the box it came in for a model number and head for the Creative Labs website.
