I just have an Hp Pavilion notebook, seems versatile and durable at the moment! This notebooks comes with very inetique bookings. I read all the papers they bundle but i cant find the answer to question: Is that any safe/healty for notebook to operate with out batteries? I mean operating with ejected bateries.
I know that the battery life measures with charge&discharging times, and i try to keep my battery less used by using my notebook with no batteries.
Thank you for all replies.

Back when batteries were NiCads it made sense to discharge/recharge using specific parameters, but with Lithium Ion it does not apply any more, and I like it to be fully charged when I pull it out of the case.
I use my notebook on AC support the majority of times because it makes it run faster, I would not be afraid if running it on batteries at any time however.
Also I wonder what happens if the AC gets bumped out on yours, I like having UPS backup on a desktop and that's what your battery would provide.

In addition to PrntRhd's post, I would add a (slight) caution.
The Power supply for a desktop gives quite a bit of protection against voltage surges/spikes on the mains supply.
A Laptop unit does not. Usually, the mains adaptor is just a transformer/rectifier that provides "noisy" DC, which is satisfactory because the batteries are floating across it, and damping any spikes. Without that damping, a mains surge/spike could damage the internal power unit. The voltage supplied by the mains adaptor is also higher than the usual battery voltage, so the internal power unit is having to deal with a certain amount of overload.
