Errors on my Disk

Im' running Windows 98 upgraded to 256 Ram, 1.4 Ghrtz, Pentium 4. When I leave my computer idle for 15-45 minutes, I come back and hit the space bar to cancel the screen saver, I find sometimes that the scan disk screen is there, but then disapeers within two seconds of my screen saver clearing. If I then run scan disk, there are errors found on my disk that are automatically fixed. These errors keep apearing from time to time and also appear to be blocking my ability to send email on outlook express.

Any comments?

I would suggest running the harddrive diagnostics. These can be downloaded from your harddrive manufacturer's web site.
