View Full Version : TV can't be started more than once
When I watch TV with my ATI TV Wonder VE, it works....the first time I launch it. If I close TV, and try to reopen it, within seconds, minutes, hours, or days, no matter how long, I get the error at http://www.ati.com/support/infobase/3349.html . I have to restart my computer for it to open.
I'm running XP, and have a nVidia GEForce 2 MX/MX 400 graphics card.

You could try uninstalling the TV driver software, then reinstalling it. Or you might see if there is a new driver available at the ATI site.
I just installed 8.9, the newest version. Uninstalling and installing didn't fix it either.

Try using a third party program like chris TV, IMHO much better than the software that comes with the cards. Chris TV has a fully functional freeware version compatible with your card.

I got Chris TV, and it does solve the problem of being started more than once, but now the video is so fuzzy or blue, that it doesn't even dectect any channels. Can't win them all I guess.

Check Chris TV forums @Troubleshooting, Errors & Bugs in ChrisTV (http://forum.chris-tv.com/) , very responsive and the developer of the program posts there often.
