Hi I have win Xp Home Edition can someone tell me how to use the Restore Check Point not to sure how this works I know how to use the reguarl restore. thanks

I am not quite certain if I understand exactly what you are asking. However, I assume you want to know how to set a restore point, before adding more software or something else that could mess up the system.
To set a restore point, You can access the system restore wizard from Help & support. Choose the option "undo changes to your computer with system restore"
Then when the wizard opens you have the choice to createe a restore point, or to restore to an earlier time.
Just follow the prompts.
If that isn't what you wanted, then post back.
