tad214,

Bad link, getting 404 error, but if it is about MS updates on CD-ROM, there was a link about that 2-3 days ago. I already ordered it.

:)

It's ok, I posted a link a few times where it went away.
Here is the post I was referring to: updates (http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=28145)

What was your link referring to?

tad214's link takes you to the default page for windows catalog, where you can download the individual updates for installing later. You need to use the IE to visit that page from the link. <img src=http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v83/shanmuga/no.gif>

Actually PrntRhd, tad214's link brings you to the Windows Update Catalog, where you can search for all updates for various Operating Systems- (Then download them and save to CD-R (Or wherever) for installation at a later date.

I'm sure you're already familiar with it. (I've actually downloaded XPsp1 and "rollup1" to CD...(And a few others).

I forgot all about that link of yours though.....I might order that thing too just for the heck of it....I mean after all, it's free :p

YODA's right about the 2 to 4 weeks delivery though...There's liable to be ten more critical updates between October 2003 (what the CD covers) and then......But how can you resist this: (Hehe)

"In addition, you will also receive a free antivirus and firewall trial software CD." ! :p :D

(Edit) Hi there shanmuga! You beat me too it...late here on the East Coast USA...Way past my bed time! See you guys. ;)

I just figured out why Tad's link won't open.
I was using Firebird/Firefox 0.7 browser and it needs IE w Active-x and all.
