I am running windows 98. When I reboot the system, I get an error message stating that xpcom.dll is missing. I did not used to get this message. The only thing I remember doing before getting this message was closing applications out of the system tray. Related? I don't know.
If I click "Ok" on the error message a few times, the message goes away, and everything seems to work fine. Once in awhile, I will see the message again when starting other applications. A few clicks and all seems to be well. Can anyone help with where to get the dll, what application is looking for it, where to install it, and why does everything seem to work ok without it once I ok the error message?
Thank you!
