Cool DVD file can't save as an MPEG

Hi Guys.

I have a home-made DVD here and I want to take part of it which is some footage created in the form of a ".VOB" file and use this footage in another production I am making with Pinnacle video editing suite. I have saved the .VOB file to the hard drive but I need to make it into an MPEG so I can add it as a seperate chapter in my own DVD production. Any ideas? Need more info?

You need a converter for creating mpeg from vob files. Download DVD2AVI (http://www.dvdhelp.us/index.html?html/tutdvd2avi.html~mainFrame)and follow the tutorial (http://www.dvdhelp.us/index.html?html/tutorials.html~mainFrame).
