Screen Freeze, Ahhhh!!!!

I get screen freeze about three--four times per week.
Sucker just locks up, no cursor, just locked up, or cursor is still there but ineffectual at anything. esc does nothing. Ctrl Alt Delete does nothing. Nothing does nothing. But soemthing is causing all this nothingosity. I just cleared a Trojan Horse about two weeks ago, everything is ok. AVG reports no bugs, Ran HijackThis here and got clear reports. I'm running Spybot, Grisoft AVG and Adaware atleast once a day, Adaware sometimes at the end of every session.

When I have had similar issues in the past, I have usually traced it back to problems with McAfee and Norton. When I started reducing what I allowed them to install, I had far fewer problems like that....

Also, do not overclock anything, use only Default BIOS settings, reseat all cards and memory making sure they're fully seated, make sure all connections are secure, shut down any unnecessary programs running in the background, and run Memtest-86 to check the memory.

If no luck, then update your video card's drivers. Sometimes they can conflict with the mouse driver.
