Problems!

I am a gamer, I currently play a game called ConquerOnline, a MMORPG.

I jsut bought a new computer so I know thats not the problem.

I have been getting disconnections alot from the game, and I dont know why.

My house runs off Wireless cable, my older bro has the main port, then his comp sends the signals to us. Ive heard this is bad for gaming.

And ideas why this might be happening?

Are you getting any error messages? Are these straight up "crash to desktops?" BSODs?

Is this the only game that "disconnects?"

Are you up to date with all patches for the game? Have you checked the manufacturer's website's forum for possibilities to the problem?

Chances are that has to do with your wireless connection. If there are portable phones in the house and they ring while you are on chances are that you will lose the connection [that is if they are the 2.4mgh type, which most newer phones are] Same can happen with the microwave, though most likly it is the phones. Does the connection come back or as asked are there any error messages?

I get stright up errors connection messages. Comp doesnt crash just disconnects from game.

I have a phone next to my router but I unplugged, didnt change anything.

Also, we just had a "Patch update" and that when prob started happening.
So I think maybe patch didnt dl correctly or something..When I downlaod patch again and try to install an error comes up saying "Windows cannot find "autopatch.exe" make sure you spelled it correctly"

I tried playing BattleField1942.
Worked perfect..no lag and no disconnections
