Video Format

Hi,

I was shopping around to buy a DVD player.
On the equipment were written DVD,SVCD,CD-RW,CD+,CD- & MP3 compatible.
What i like to know is what does CD+ & CD- means?

CD+ is an enhanced audio CD which usually has some video file on it for instance you may get the music video to a song on an audio CD...I take this dvd player can play these (usually need to be played through a PC)

as for the CD-....:confused: lol
