Hi
I liked the Big buttons of "Copy"/ "Paste" etc. in the standard buttons bar in Win98.
But in WinME, Win2000 and WinXP, these buttons are replaced by "Copy to"/ "Paste to" etc. and also they are smaller in size.

Is there any option for bringing my Win98 style in these versions of Wndows?

thnx

Your Windows help files should tell you how to do that.

Search for "Desktop" or "Fonts".

It will probably send you to "Control Panel>Display>Appearance".

Are you referring to the right-click context menu text fonts?

Yes, but these are not all the options in the right click menu.
Basically, i used the copy, cut and paste buttons of it.
In WinXP, they are copy to, move to etc.
And also, these buttons are quite tiny in WinXP.
Control Pannel> display> appearance doesn't have any option to change it.
I m not working in XP, so i will check it in Win XP
thnx

The items [and the wording of those items] in the [right-click] context menus are constructed by Windows Explorer using settings retreived by Explorer from the registry. I used to change the wording, to make them more informative, by editing the registry.
e.g. Right-click on a ".reg" file and the "default action" I worded as "Merge using regedit".
The particular fonts used are determined by configuration settings I think.
Your "Display>Settings>Screen Area" would tend to make everything look smaller if set to higher values. So you would need to counteract that by using bigger icons & larger fonts.
The "Display>Appearance" settings would be the ones to change I guess.
Use your "Start>Help" facility to find "Fonts>To change the way the items on the desktop look".
Mine says to go to "Display>Appearance>Item>Menu" and alter the fonts.
I'm assuming this will alter the "Context Menu" along with the others menus

I don't know whether you have tried this, but there is an option in the toolbar customization menu to make the icons larger.

Right click on the tool bar > customize > Icon options > large icons
