Hi there,

What I want to do is run a dual monitor type system. The first monitor will remain as a regular default Windows monitor. The second one I want to be able to run a video or powerpoint presentation and output it to a Television system. I have a Geforce Ti4400 with CRT / S-Video / and DVI outputs on it.

I want to be able to loop the TV output and have it run uninterrupted while still maintaining functionality of the computer using the default CRT monitor.

So far I kow I'll need an S-video -> RCA to get into the TV (no S-video input on it) but I'm not sure about the rest. Specifically how the TV out works and if it's possible to use the TV out as a secondary monitor.

It's probably simple but I figured I'd ask first before going out and buying adapters and cables and such.

Hello Leatherfoot and welcome to http://www.pcguide.com/ubb/pcgubb.gif
You will need to go through the "Properties" for your vid card and learn how you seperate the images to different screens. From there you would have multipul windows open, one for the looping presentation on TV screen, the others for your functionality of the computer on your monitor.
I set up a stock trading machine for someone that has 4 monitors. He has 2 to 3 windows open on each screen. He does this by opening a window for a desired function then drags it to an area on one of the screens, repeating this process for each function. It was really a trip at first to see work. The mouse and window seem to jump through space the the next screen as he moves it.

Hope that helps
