I just bought a new video card: PowerColor Radeon 9200 SE 128DDR. On the box it says AGP8X. I asked the sales guy in the store if he could refer me to a low-end video card that would work well with my motherboard (MSI KM2M Combo-L) which has only up to 4x AGP. He said that this one was ok to use. In the manual is notes: AGP universal bus (for 4x/8x systems) What does this really mean? Is the video cards performance limited when used in a 4x AGP bus system? Would it run faster in a 8x bus?

GPU speed is 200 MHz: If I was to change my FSB to 154, what would the GPU speed of the video card be?

GPU speed is 200 MHz: If I was to change my FSB to 154, what would the GPU speed of the video card be?200 MHz. GPU speed is unaffected by the CPU's FSB. Sometimes the GPU manufacturer (ATI in this case) or video card maker (PowerColor) will supply a utility for overclocking the GPU, but if not then you're likely to void the warranty by overclocking it.

And don't try it if you aren't prepared for that! ATI is rumored to have put a type of "fuse" in their latest GPU's that will "go off" when OC'ed to let ATI know if your vid card no longer has a warranty.
