In Windows explorer or My Computer after doing a search for file names,
Is there a way to print the list out. I know that I can do a print screen but the list is long and will require several "print Screen commands.

Thanks

Lest say you want to know how many Excel Spread sheets you have and what they are.

from dos/command prompt

C:\>

type the following command:

dir *.xls/s>excel.txt

type excel.txt>lpt1

or open the excel.txt file with notpad, wordpad or word and print it.

Though there are work-arounds other than the DOS method to get the search results printed out, like using outlook or a zip client, the best and easiest method probably would be to use a 3rd party search tool like Agent Ransack (http://www.mythicsoft.com/agentransack/default.aspx). You can export the file list to a file or clipboard, it will include the file name/path, file size and modified date/time. It's a *much* better search tool as well...
