my computer plays fur elise on the pc speaker

my computer plays fur elise on the pc speaker ( not on the plugged in speaker) it happens on my machice whether i am running window98 or linux( i have a dual boot michice)it even happens in safe mode

Shut the machine down and check the CPU fan.....do this immediately!
