Hiya, quick question. I'm looking to replace my old hard drive. It is listed as a UATA drive (Samsung model SV2001H). Most drives I see on newegg are SATA now. If I was to order an SATA would it just simply fit in to where my old HD was?

(I'm not worried about the software part just the hardware)

Thanks alot.

The new SATA drives require a motherboard that has the necessary style of cable these babies use. The IDE cables don't work on them...'tis a whole new ball game! ;)

I'm not sure if there is a PCI card that you can connect them to, or if there will be one available...
