Hello,

I have some files that I'm unable to delete. Please help!

Here is a list of what I have tried so far.

Checked to see if files where read-only.
Booted into safemode and tried to delete.
Booted using KNOPPIX GNU/Linux and tried to delete files.

After searching the forum for "cannot + delete + file" I have found that it is common practice to run some programs and such.I will list what I have done.

Ran a complete virus scan using AVG(I run scans and update daily.)
Ran AdAware
Ran hijackthis

Hijackthis output:

Hi kevind123, nothing serious in your log. Mind giving us the details of those undeletable files, like full name with extension and location. :)

Thanks for the relpy shanmuga,

I wanted to delete some .avi files in the "My Documents" folder.
I was able to delete them using a program called Eraser.
