i got a big problem

i am using windows 98 with two partion. c and d. it is 64MB ram..
it all worked fine till evening. it showed the error message regarding nortan antivirus. so i went to that site and it displayed that uninstall and reinstall ur antivirus. so i uninstalled the antivirus. and restarted.
now the main problem rises.
after restarting when i open IE two or three it connects to net ..no problem in that..
but the moving of cursor is stops for 2-10 seconds and then it comes..could u help me to solve this one.
the cursor stops in one place no movement after some seconds it moves ..really gets struck with this one

From your description, my first(and second) thoughts were that you have been infected with some form of gackware.

We need a closer look at what's happening.
Please download Hijack this (http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads/tools/HijackThis.exe)
Copy it into its own folder, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log, do Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.
