max ram on mobo

Hi everyone. Product specs for mobo at HP website says it can have 1GB of ram (up to 2x512), MSI manual downloaded from website says 2GB ram. Which one do you think is correct? Specs in sig.

Yeah, mainstream manufacturers such as HP and Compaq like to disable things in order to sell the non-disabled versions at a higher price.
