OK, stupid question here. I downloaded an ISO file, extracted it to a folder and then using Windows XP native CD writing wrote the files to a CD. I need the CD to be bootable, now I realize I should have just used an ISO program to burn the image, but live and learn. Now my problem is I deleted the original ISO and need to make the CD bootable. Anyway I can do this without having to download the whole file again? Not impossible just somehting I would rather avoid if possible. Thanks

Try to copy the cd contents back onto your PC and reburn another one in a burning program using "Make this bootable" option set.

Other than that...your first thought is probably the only other way.
