You have a very nasty infection... Please follow the instructions closely... you missed some of my last instructions, but in this case doing it differently could cause a lot of trouble....

Close all windows and your browser (you may want to print this out first). Open HJT and mark/fix these:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = mk:@MSITStore:C:\WINDOWS\start.chm::/start.html
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = about :blank
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = about :blank
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = about :blank
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = about :blank
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = mk:@MSITStore:C:\WINDOWS\start.chm::/start.html
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = about :blank
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = about :blank
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = about :blank
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = about :blank
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchAssistant = about :blank
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchAssistant = about :blank
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,(Default) = about :blank
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O1 - Hosts: 3466690378 view.atdmt.com
O1 - Hosts: 3466690378 click.atdmt.com
O1 - Hosts: 3466690378 leader.linkexchange.com
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AutoUpdater] "C:\Program Files\AutoUpdate\AutoUpdate.exe"

Next, you can download and run this fix. There is some controversy about whether it is valid, but a lot of experts claim it is valid. Without it, that infection will probably just keep coming back....

http://www.master-search.com/remove.exe

After that, reboot and run a fresh HJT log with your browser closed. Open the browser and post it HERE..... DO NOT start another new thread.....

Did you already run that other fix??? If you haven't run it, the infection will almost certainly be back....

Either way, it would be a very good idea to download and run the latest Critical Updates for WinXP since one of them protects against that infection. Also make sure you antivirus is kept up to date, that you have a good firewall running and it would be a good idea to install SpywareBlaster and IE-Spyads to protect against getting infected again....

Budfred:

Is the link above the same one to the "removal" tool discussed in another thread that removes this crudware and installs more? If so I can remove the link in the interest of the safety and security of our visitors. If not, never mind...Let me know

I won't be online till tonight, but will check here first thing.
