I want to know how to download web based e-mails to a hard drive so that will be saved and accessed locally.
I have a number of web based accounts and want to consolidate all these together. Other then doing a copy/paste for text and saving separate images on each e-mail.
Can this be done without a separate program?

Have you ttried FORWARDING them from your web based mail account to your computer based mail account? This is what I do when I wan to save a mail in my web account. Just forward it to my OE account. No other software required.

There is no POP account!
Actually it is for a friend (bet you heard that one before).
He has 3 web based accounts, NO POP account. Don't use OE (or IE) for that matter either. Security flawed at least, and besides it's a M$ program!
Without doing EACH e-mail with a copy/paste and/or a save image deal that woul;d take forever.

If one of them is a hotmail account then forward all the mails to hotmail and then setup hotmail in OE, which is dead easy to do, and let them all download into OE.
Alternatively get a free POPmail account eg http://bonbon.net/index.jsp and set up your mail client on your pc; forward all mails as above.
I think you are going to have to do something like this to get them downloaded in batches or download them one at a time from the web.
