ZA was deleted

For some odd reason, my Zone Alarm was deleted around the time when I installed the EZ Amor antivirus software. I tried to find it in my Programs Files, then the entire drive, but the program and folder were nowhere to be found. I have reinstalled ZA and it is working properly, or so it seems.

The question is, should I be worried that the program was wiped from my drive without any notification?

I would certainly be worried, but I am baffled how it could happen. I have found it difficult to intentionally remove ZA, so I don't know how it could be done unintentionally....

I don't know if this will help with your sleuthing or not, but Zone Alarm creates a log under ZAlog.txt which is archived every 60 days.

Unless you have configured this file to catalog allowed entries, it appears that it only logs traffic that was blocked...

As I mentioned...not sure if this knowledge will help or not...
